Progress!
So the first fitting.... err.... it almost fits... sort of... It isn't actually pinned up at the back and I'm planning on wearing high heels with it, hence the puddle of fabric on the floor, but come on - it looks more like a dress now, right?

Oi Missus Cara,
Three things.
1. You could put an old pair of heels on for the fitting.
2. It looks better than it did as a pile of bits.
3. It is a nice colour.
I think you will ring - 'cos you will be a 'bell of the ball' thingy.

Wow. That is going to be one great dress.
And thank you (more than typewritten words can convey) for the nice suggestion about Flower Remedies. I am off to get myself some of whatever you suggested (I need to go back and look at your comment again) and banish the circular thoughts of goo.
